With a 51 x 51 cm feed hopper opening and a 10 cm shredding diameter, it's designed for tractors with a power output of at least 25-30 HP and a P.T.O. speed of 540 rpm. \n \nConstructed with durability in mind, the BX-42S features 10 and 5 mm sheet metal in weight-bearing areas and 2 mm in non-weight-bearing parts. The unit is easily transportable as the hopper can be folded and secured with a cotter pin. Maintenance is convenient with one-screw access to the flywheel cover, revealing four double-sided cutting blades. \n \nThe chute, with a 152 cm height (plus lower link height), is rotatable 360 degrees and can expel chippings up to 6 m.
